My computer decided it was done living, which has left me feeling a little lost for the past few weeks. While I can surf the internet on my phone, typing with my thumbs is something I'd like to leave to the generations behind me.
I found this yesterday at the supermarket, however, and just wanted to share. It's a coffee pastry with, to my mind at least, the unfortunate name of Bolus. You know, like the ball of chewed food in your mouth right before you swallow. I bought it anyway. It wasn't anything to write home about. When Niek saw it, he told me that you can also use the word bolus to talk about poop. Hmm...Add this one to the list of cultural incommensurability.
Sorry that the picture is upside down. I can't seem to rotate image using the Blogger app.
I've been waiting for you to discover my Oscars fashion post... you're forgiven. Naughty computer.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you could still access the internet and post this even though your computer broke down. How is it now? Did you have it fixed already? A sudden crash or failure of our personal computer is such a drag and it takes us by surprise. Regularly checking for parts that need replacement or cleaning and having a system clean up should prevent things like this from occurring.

It's really hard to move on once you've found out that you can do nothing about your computer. The only thing you have to do is to accept that it's time for you to let it go. Do you know the reason behind it, though? And have you bought a new computer already? You can surfing the net on your phone, but activities, like blogging, are more convenient when you're at the computer.

I agree with Joel. It would be more convenient to work on the computer than with your phone. So did you have your computer repaired or you you got a new one? The pastry looks delicious by the way.
